PRIVAT congratulates IQUA Robotics for the presentation of AUV “Albert I of Monaco” at GEOMAR.

We are very proud of receiving this news from our customer IQUA Robotics. We have collaborated with the hardware engineering team producing the main mechanical parts of the AUVs that they manufacture since the creation of the company.
IQUA Robotics manufactures Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) systems which can be adapted for a wide range of research and professional applications. IQUA Robotics currently commercializes in exclusivity the Girona 500 and the Sparus II.
Last week, Prince Albert II of Monaco christened of one SPARUS II AUV known as "Albert I of Monaco" at the German institute of marine research GEOMAR in Kiel.
The vehicle is about 1.5 meters long and can be submerged up to 200 meters deep. Equipped with several sensors, including a side scan sonar and an oxygen sensor, the device can be used for both open water research measurements and seabed mapping.
