Mecanitzats Privat has contributed to the construction of LE MONDE’s new building.

Concurring with its 75th anniversary, by means of our client EIFFAGE, LE MONDE takes up in 2014 its project of this ambitious building that will be the new headquarters of this distinguished publishing company.
Located near the Gare d’Austerlitz, the building is been designed by the Norwegian architecture agency Snöhetta, a studio that combines architecture, landscape and interior design with offices in Oslo and New York.
The mechanized elements have a fundamental role for the union of the different segments that form the metallic structure, with a total weight request for the whole building of 17,000 tons.
