IES GARROTXA Technical School visits PRIVAT

PRIVAT was pleased to welcome the annual visit of students from the Intermediate Vocational Training Programme (CFGM) specialising in Machining from the IES Garrotxa Institute in Olot (Girona).

During the visit, the students had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the facilities and production processes of a company with a long-standing track record in the CNC machining sector. PRIVAT, a family-owned company founded in 1988 and specialised in the manufacture of high-precision machined components, explained to the visitors how production is carried out from process engineering through to final quality control.
The students were able to see the CNC workshop manufacturing technologies in operation, as well as the rigorous quality control procedures implemented, and to learn about the different materials and specialities applied in real projects for sectors that are diverse yet equally demanding, such as aerospace, defence, industry, motorsport, scientific instruments, robotics and semiconductors.
This educational visit strengthens the collaboration between PRIVAT and local educational institutions, demonstrating the company’s commitment to training and the development of technical talent.
